About Wellies Online
Wellies Online was established in 2008 and was initially a home-based business.Originally inspired by the fact that there was only a limited range of waterproof footwear available in Australia, particularly for women, the creation of a gumboot website was a unique concept.
Within 3 years of retailing, it was evident that Australian’s embraced gumboots as necessary for their outdoor activities.
At that stage, we had sufficient product knowledge to venture into manufacturing our own styles.
Wellies Online are ever conscious of consumer prices and we recognised that the production of our own rubber footwear would introduce a wider range and maintain affordability.
In 2013, we established our welly warehouse to increase our national distribution.
Today, wellies are a household word. We appreciate every sale. We also appreciate your counted support and we believe in giving back to the community, by way of corporate donation.
Our chosen charity is the Salvation Army. This year our gumboot donation tally is 5740 pairs of gumboots, in recognition of their tremendous work in our community.
